Legal Counsel (Corporate & Intra-Group)

The Legal team plays a crucial role in supporting various departments throughout the company, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. The company is currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Corporate and Intra-Group Legal team, focusing on corporate matters across JetBrains’ international operations and supporting the legal framework among entities within the group.
The Legal Counsel will provide legal support for corporate matters relating to JetBrains group entities across various jurisdictions, including EU and non-EU countries. Responsibilities include supporting the ongoing corporate maintenance of group companies through activities such as corporate approvals, board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, amendments to constitutional documents, director and officer changes, shareholding matters, and other corporate actions. The role also involves managing and coordinating corporate legal workstreams, including incorporations, liquidations, reorganizations, changes in ownership structures, capital contributions, intra-group financing arrangements, and other cross-border corporate matters.
Candidates should have fluency in English, both written and spoken, with professional proficiency in an additional language (such as Dutch, Polish, or Greek) being an advantage. A university-level degree in law, equivalent to a bachelor’s or higher, from a recognized institution is required. Post-graduate legal experience in the corporate law field, preferably gained within a multinational corporation or an international law firm, is also necessary. Experience working with legislative systems across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the Netherlands, Cyprus, the UAE, the UK, Poland, or Israel, is desirable.
