The Legal Recruiter will own the full-cycle recruiting process for strategic legal hires, with a strong focus on attorney recruitment across multiple practice areas. This role involves building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards, and ATS/CRM systems. The recruiter will collaborate closely with the Head of People Operations, hiring managers, and firm leadership to support hiring priorities and deliver a strong candidate experience.
Key responsibilities include continuously improving recruiting workflows, sourcing strategies, and hiring efficiency to reduce time-to-fill. The recruiter will ensure that recruiting practices remain compliant with California employment standards while providing regular pipeline updates and market insights. Operating with a high level of independence, organization, and follow-through in a fast-growing environment is essential.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in recruiting attorneys and other legal professionals in a fast-paced environment. They should possess the ability to independently manage recruiting priorities with minimal oversight and have experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and modern ATS/CRM platforms such as Rippling, Greenhouse, or similar systems. Familiarity with California employment and recruiting compliance standards is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to improve recruiting processes. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also essential.
This position offers a high degree of autonomy in creating and managing the recruiting function, with direct exposure to firm leadership and opportunities for mentorship. There are growth opportunities to advance into roles such as Talent Acquisition Partner or Manager. The recruiter will have a direct impact on the firm's growth and strategic direction by bringing in top talent.
