Legal Project Manager*in (m/w/d) Litigation and Dispute Resolution - Frankfurt
Clifford Chance, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Project Manager (m/w/d) to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Frankfurt. This role is integral to the firm's strategy, focusing on delivering high-quality legal services through efficient project management. The successful candidate will collaborate with international teams, ensuring seamless communication between clients and project teams.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of project initiation documents, such as scope, resourcing, and budget proposals, and tracking progress against these proposals. The role involves dissecting problems and processes, applying logical and analytical approaches to solve them, and positively influencing team members to adapt their ways of working. Additionally, the Legal Project Manager will manage effective planning over short, medium, and long terms, document minutes, actions, and track workstreams, and monitor accruals while managing projects against agreed budgets, including scope changes.
Candidates should possess a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in legal or business administration fields. While a project management certification is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Experience in project management or legal activities, ideally within a professional services firm or law firm, is preferred. Essential skills include social competence, assertiveness, communication skills, client orientation, flexibility, and commitment. A strong understanding of legal and business matters, analytical thinking, and proficiency in English and German are required. Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, and experience with project management tools are also beneficial.
