Legal Project Analyst

The Legal Project Analyst at Clifford Chance plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service through legal project management capabilities. This position is embedded within the "Best Delivery" hubs, which are aligned with the firm's global business units, including Corporate, Global Financial Markets, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. The primary objective is to ensure an outstanding client experience on every matter by applying continuous improvement principles, smart technology, and efficient resource management.

In this role, the Legal Project Analyst collaborates closely with Legal Project Managers (LPMs) and coordinates with various teams such as Legal Support Secretaries, billing, GPMS IT, Legal Technology Advisors, and Continuous Improvement teams. Key responsibilities include preparing fee reports for internal and external clients, tracking project workstreams, and conducting analyses on data like leverage and profitability. Additionally, the analyst is involved in drafting time recording guidelines, reviewing draft invoices, and assisting in tracking out-of-scope work.

Candidates should possess a Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, with at least four years of experience in a corporate or multinational corporation environment. A background in project management or project coordination, coupled with financial reporting and management experience, is essential. Strong skills in MS Excel, VBA, and Access are preferable, along with a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and excellent communication and analytical abilities.
