Grammarly, now part of Superhuman, is seeking a Legal Program Manager to enhance operational efficiency within its Legal function, encompassing Product, Privacy, Commercial, Litigation & Employment, and Corporate & Compliance teams. This role is pivotal in translating strategic priorities into structured, scalable programs that enable swift business operations while managing risk responsibly.

The Legal Program Manager will drive cross-functional legal initiatives from scoping through execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and executive visibility. They will operationalize Legal’s workflows by building scalable intake, prioritization, governance, reporting, and knowledge-management frameworks. Additionally, the role involves improving efficiency and impact by implementing tools, automation, metrics, and program governance across the legal portfolio. Serving as a liaison between Legal and key partners such as Product, Engineering, Sales, HR, Finance, and Security, the manager will anticipate friction and accelerate decision-making. They will also enable leadership clarity through structured reporting, risk tracking, and clear articulation of trade-offs and progress.

Candidates should have over 8 years of program or project management experience in legal, compliance, or highly regulated environments. A demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in fast-moving, ambiguous settings is essential. Strong cross-functional influence skills and executive-level communication capabilities are required. Experience in designing scalable legal processes, such as intake, triage, playbooks, dashboards, and governance frameworks, is necessary. A working familiarity with legal subject areas like product counseling, privacy, commercial contracting, litigation management, employment, and corporate compliance is also important. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, low-ego leader who operates independently and drives measurable results.

Superhuman offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $152,000–$209,000 per year for Zone 1 locations.
