Legal Operations Project Coordinator
The Legal Operations Project Coordinator at Continental is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Americas Legal Team. This role involves managing reporting, key projects, optimizing workflows, driving operational excellence, and handling administrative tasks and scheduling. The position blends project management, process improvement, and legal-tech enablement to ensure the legal team operates as a high-performing business function.
Key responsibilities include handling time-sensitive requests from legal team members, assisting with day-to-day matters and special projects, and tracking follow-ups. The coordinator acts as a point of contact between the legal team and internal/external stakeholders, supports cross-functional collaboration, maintains and updates project tracking tools and dashboards, and assists with planning and execution of team meetings, events, and workshops. Additional duties involve vendor management, processing legal billing and invoicing, developing and maintaining a knowledge management system, supporting intake and assignment of legal service requests, preparing case reports, issuing and tracking legal holds, managing the team training calendar, and assisting with defending claims by gathering responsive documentation.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree and have over three years of experience in Project Coordination or Legal Operations support. Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are essential. Strong experience in project management, including creating project plans and taking meeting minutes, is required. The role demands a tech-savvy individual willing to adopt AI and emerging technologies, comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders with varying needs, and capable of handling shifting priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail are crucial.
