Legal Intern
Alo Yoga is seeking a Legal Intern to join its in-house legal team for an 8-week summer program from June 8th to July 31st, based at their Beverly Hills headquarters. This role offers law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various legal areas, including intellectual property, employment, real estate, corporate law, and litigation, within a dynamic and growing business environment.
As a Legal Intern, you will assist in researching and drafting legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and memoranda. You will support the legal team in compliance and regulatory matters, analyze laws and policies affecting the retail industry, and help review and summarize contracts, vendor agreements, and employee-related documents. Additional responsibilities include preparing litigation documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams like HR, marketing, and procurement on legal issues, maintaining legal files and records, and participating in meetings to provide legal guidance on day-to-day matters.
Candidates should be currently enrolled at a top-tier law school and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly and concisely. Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Attention to detail, effective task prioritization, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Handling sensitive and confidential company materials with discretion is also crucial.
