Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel at Continental, you will provide comprehensive legal support for ContiTech's business operations within the EMEA region. This role is integral to the ContiTech law department, focusing on delivering independent legal advice and collaborating with a global team of legal professionals. Continental, established in 1871, is a technology company dedicated to sustainable and connected mobility solutions, employing approximately 200,000 people across 57 countries.

Your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a diverse range of contracts and legal documents pertinent to ContiTech's operations in the EMEA region. You will also oversee relationships with external legal counsel, ensuring that all contractual agreements align with the company's strategic objectives and legal standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying and analyzing legal risks, developing solutions to mitigate them, and staying abreast of current legal developments to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have completed full law studies with above-average state examinations or possess a comparable qualification, preferably with international study experience. A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in law firms and/or in-house legal roles is required. Essential skills include a strong economic understanding, a global mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Office programs. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, along with flexibility, teamwork capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
