Legal Consultant - Financial Services (Derivatives/ISDA)

This role involves leading negotiations for master documentation, providing expertise in financial markets and regulatory frameworks, and serving as the primary point of contact for counterparties. The consultant will also collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and build strong relationships with external legal counsel and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include leading negotiations for ISDA and related documentation, offering expertise in financial markets and regulatory frameworks, particularly in power and carbon emissions trading, and serving as the primary point of contact for counterparties during negotiations. The consultant will also collaborate with internal departments to enhance efficiency and build strong relationships with external legal counsel and stakeholders.
Candidates should have 4-8 years of post-qualification experience focusing on financial markets, derivatives, and regulatory frameworks, with comprehensive experience in ISDA documentation. A specialization in power and carbon emissions trading is preferred but not required. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are essential.
