Legal Consultant - Equity Capital Markets (IPO)
Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in Equity Capital Markets (IPO) to join our team in Hong Kong. This role involves providing legal and regulatory support for IPOs and equity capital markets transactions led by our global investment banking client. As part of Axiom, a leader in high-caliber, on-demand legal talent, you will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external parties to ensure smooth execution of transactions and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In this position, you will advise internal deal teams on structuring, documentation, and compliance with securities laws and stock exchange requirements. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating prospectuses, underwriting agreements, and transaction-related documentation. You will also collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external parties to ensure smooth execution of transactions and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in Equity Capital Markets (IPO), preferably with a reputable law firm or financial institution. In-depth knowledge of IPO processes, equity offerings, and capital markets transactions is essential. Familiarity with Hong Kong Listing rules and relevant laws and regulations is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
