Legal Consultant - Employment

Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is seeking a mid-senior level Employment Legal Consultant to join their team in Hong Kong. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support to Fortune 500 clients, focusing on employment law matters across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The consultant will collaborate closely with human resources and management teams to ensure compliance with local labor laws and to develop effective workplace policies.

Key responsibilities include advising on employee relations, workplace policies, terminations, and compliance with labor laws. The consultant will draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the resolution of employment disputes and providing guidance on best practices for employee performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.

Candidates should be qualified lawyers with a minimum of two years of experience in employment law, preferably from corporate or financial institutions or law firms. A strong knowledge of employment law within the APAC region is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
