Legal Consultant - Asset Management

Axiom is seeking a qualified Funds/Asset Management Lawyer to join their team in Hong Kong, supporting Fortune 500 clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment funds law and asset management, with expertise in advising clients on the formation, structuring, and regulation of investment funds.

In this role, you will provide legal counsel on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds, including drafting offering documents, fund agreements, and regulatory filings. You will advise on compliance with Hong Kong laws and regulations governing investment funds, such as the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO), prospectus requirements, and ongoing reporting obligations. Additionally, you will assist in fund transactions and regulatory matters, including fund mergers and acquisitions, and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.

The position requires a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law with a focus on investment funds, preferably in a law firm or in-house at an asset management firm. A strong knowledge of Hong Kong laws and regulations applicable to investment funds, including SFC guidelines, is essential.
