Legal Consultant - AI, Tech

Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is seeking a Legal Consultant specializing in AI and Technology to collaborate with one of our Fortune 500 clients. This role focuses on integrating advanced AI capabilities into legal research platforms, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of legal information retrieval and analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop AI-powered legal research features. Responsibilities include designing and managing Gold Sets for AI quality assurance, evaluating AI outputs against established standards, refining prompts and retrieval results, and partnering with AI engineers and product managers to implement product improvements. Additionally, the consultant will validate AI outputs to ensure their applicability in real-world legal contexts.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in legal research within law firms, in-house legal teams, or legal content management. A strong ability to conduct complex legal research using cases, statutes, and secondary sources is essential. Expertise in Boolean and advanced legal search methodologies, along with flexible analytical thinking skills, is required. A collaborative and proactive mindset is crucial, and experience with Gold Sets for AI research evaluation is a plus.
