Corporate Paralegal - Dallas
Axiom is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Dallas. This role involves working on temporary secondments with Fortune 100 clients, providing essential support in corporate governance and compliance matters. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with top-tier legal teams and contribute to high-profile projects.
Key responsibilities include drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents such as board resolutions, bylaws, policies, and charters. The paralegal will conduct research and analyze legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance and compliance. Additionally, maintaining and updating corporate records, including board and committee minutes and shareholder records, is a critical aspect of the role. The paralegal will also assist with the preparation and filing of corporate documents, including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC filings.
The ideal candidate will have over nine years of corporate governance experience as a paralegal in a large corporate in-house environment. A strong understanding of corporate governance principles, best practices, and familiarity with corporate filings, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements is essential. Proficiency in legal research tools, databases, and related software is required. Candidates should be open to working in an engagement-based role, seconded to clients on a temporary basis for approximately six months at a time.
Compensation for this role ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year, depending on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
