Legal Administrative Assistant
Wilson Elser's Baltimore office is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic team of attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. This role is integral to managing case matters, coordinating filings and calendars, and ensuring effective communication to deliver high-quality legal services.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative assistance to attorneys and colleagues, coordinating new matter openings and closings, preparing and proofreading legal documents and court filings, and managing electronic filing systems. The assistant will also maintain case calendars, enter attorney time, assist with billing support, and handle expense reports and travel arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably within a law firm or litigation setting. Familiarity with legal terminology, document formatting, and court procedures is essential. Strong organizational skills, professional communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines are required.
