Junior Inbound Compliance Analyst (KYC)
The Junior Inbound Compliance Analyst (KYC) at Carta will be an integral member of the Inbound Compliance team, which serves as the frontline of Carta's compliance function. This team manages the intake and resolution of Know Your Customer (KYC) requests for leading asset managers and private equity firms. The role is based in Sandy, Utah; Seattle, Washington; or New York, NY.
In this position, the analyst will oversee the entire KYC request lifecycle, ensuring the efficient processing and resolution of inbound KYC requests from clients and their counterparties. They will serve as the primary point of contact for KYC inquiries, providing clients with clear and confident guidance on global KYC requirements. The role also involves reviewing and validating KYC documentation for completeness and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC regulations, maintaining accurate records, and staying updated on evolving global KYC/AML regulations.
Candidates should possess 1 to 2+ years of compliance experience, with a solid understanding of global KYC and AML frameworks. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and effective communication skills are essential. Experience with complex legal entities, particularly in offshore jurisdictions like Cayman or Luxembourg, is advantageous. While not required, certifications such as ICA or ACAMS are beneficial.
