The Senior Practice Support Specialist at McGuireWoods serves as a strategic partner in litigation technology, collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, IT staff, and external vendors to support complex litigation matters throughout the entire eDiscovery lifecycle—from initial data strategy and processing to trial presentation. This role is available in the firm's Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco offices.

Key responsibilities include advising case teams on best practices across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle, leading complex eDiscovery workflows such as data processing, document review management, and productions, and providing hands-on trial support, including deposition synchronization, video clips, exhibit management, and in-court presentations. The specialist also serves as a consultative resource on defensible, cost-effective data management strategies, acts as a subject matter expert in litigation support tools and emerging technologies, provides training and mentorship to team members, and participates in on-call support and after-hours assistance as required.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with a legal background and in-depth knowledge of litigation processes. Extensive experience supporting complex litigation matters is essential, as is strong proficiency in eDiscovery tools such as RelativityOne, Nuix, LAW PreDiscovery, and trial presentation software (OnCue preferred). The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, exceptional communication and client service skills, a collaborative team-oriented approach with the capacity to work independently, and a willingness to travel and provide on-call support as needed.

McGuireWoods offers a comprehensive benefits package and provides most employees with a hybrid remote option, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. The firm has been delivering legal solutions to corporate, individual, and nonprofit clients since 1834, emphasizing a client-service mindset and a collaborative work environment.

Joining McGuireWoods as a Senior Practice Support Specialist offers the opportunity to work with a leading law firm that values innovation and client service.
