Corporate Associate - Securities

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate specializing in securities to join its corporate group. This role offers the opportunity to work within a tenured team of over 1,000 attorneys and policy advisors, providing a broad practice platform with personalized client attention across various office locations.

The Corporate Associate will be responsible for handling public and private company securities transactions, including compliance with the '33 and '34 Acts, preparing SEC filings, and advising clients on reporting requirements. Additional responsibilities may include working on mergers and acquisitions, as well as providing counsel to real estate or other investment funds and REITs.

Candidates must have at least three years of meaningful experience at a midsize or large law firm, focusing on public and private securities transactions and 1934 Act reporting requirements. Strong academic credentials, along with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, are essential. Admission to practice in good standing in a state where Nelson Mullins has an East Coast office is required.

The salary for this position ranges from $230,000 to $350,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
