Litigation Administrative Assistant
Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant to join our Charlotte office, supporting litigation partners and the Office Managing Partner. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, adeptly handling tight deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities as needed.
In this position, you will prepare engagement letters, revise and finalize correspondence and documents, and provide comprehensive billing support, including reviewing accounts receivable and preparing summaries. Strong proofreading skills and sound judgment are essential. Responsibilities also include overseeing email communications, managing calendars and scheduling, coordinating meetings and events with internal teams and external clients, and assisting with special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience supporting attorneys. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong writing and editing abilities, are essential. Critical thinking, organization, time management, and leadership skills are necessary for this role. A well-organized, customer-oriented approach is crucial. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
