Corporate Associate

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its corporate group in the Atlanta office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a tenured team on significant business and legal developments in the Southeast and beyond, including national class action cases, formation of public companies, financial institution capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and important pro bono cases.

The Corporate Associate will be responsible for handling a variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and general corporate work. The role involves drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and managing various aspects of complex corporate transactions.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of meaningful corporate/transactional experience, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and general corporate matters. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with excellent academic credentials. Admission to and good standing with the Georgia Bar is required.
