Civil Litigation Associate

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw100 law firm, is seeking a mid-level Civil Litigation Associate to join its product liability team in the Los Angeles office. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of an expanding practice that provides a range of litigation services to clients across various industries.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team handling all aspects of litigation. Responsibilities include drafting motions and substantive briefs, managing discovery, handling hearings and arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial. The team draws on the firm's extensive resources to counsel national and international clients in areas such as employment, environmental, intellectual property, and technology matters.

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of meaningful, hands-on experience in product liability and general litigation, specifically within California. A background in product liability focused on the automotive, medical device, and/or consumer products industries is preferred. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, a thorough understanding of civil procedure rules, and strong academic credentials are essential. Admission to the California Bar in good standing is required.
