IT Technician
AlphaSights is seeking a proactive IT Technician to join our dynamic IT team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about technology to contribute to a digital business where continuous uptime and a seamless IT experience are vital to our success. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for providing first-line end-user support across devices, applications, access, and connectivity, while also assisting with office infrastructure, asset management, and new technology rollouts.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include serving as the first point of contact via our service desk and support channels, logging and resolving user issues, and escalating when necessary. You will assist with identity and access management, troubleshoot macOS/iOS and foundational Windows issues, manage device deployment and asset tracking, and ensure meeting rooms and AV equipment are operational. Additionally, you will support office moves, expansions, and new technology implementations, while creating and updating knowledge base articles to enhance first-contact resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess A-Levels or an equivalent qualification and demonstrate a strong passion for technology, particularly Apple (macOS/iOS) systems, with a willingness to learn Windows. Effective communication skills, a positive team-oriented attitude, and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential. A basic understanding of IT concepts, including operating systems and interest in Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 administration, is required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple device support, Okta fundamentals, and Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
