AlphaSights is seeking a bilingual Client Service Associate fluent in Mandarin to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to start your career in our New York office, where you'll receive comprehensive training and professional development. After approximately six months, you'll permanently relocate to our Hong Kong office, applying your cross-cultural insights to enhance client and firm outcomes. AlphaSights connects leading investment funds, strategy consultancies, and Fortune 500 companies with expert knowledge to inform their decision-making processes.
As an Associate in the Client Service team, you'll act as the vital link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include recruiting experts by engaging in extensive phone conversations to identify individuals uniquely suited to your clients' projects, often under tight deadlines. You'll need to understand the project and market context, as well as the legal and regulatory environments in which your clients and experts operate. Taking full ownership of your projects, you'll manage client-expert communications and meticulously schedule calls to ensure seamless collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, with an undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or above, and noteworthy extracurricular achievements throughout school and university. Relevant internship experience is essential. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required. Candidates must have work authorization in the United States; we will consider applicants with STEM/OPT eligibility.
Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary of $75,000, with total first-year earnings ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on performance. Benefits include 17 vacation days, 10 public holidays, and a business closure during the winter holiday week.
