International Trade Compliance Counsel

Axiom is seeking an Import Counsel to join its International Trade and Regulatory team in Dallas. This role involves providing legal guidance on U.S. import laws, customs compliance, and tariff matters, serving high-profile clients in technology, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating import-related contracts, offering legal counsel on import compliance and tariff mitigation, collaborating with internal teams and clients on cross-border transactions, managing legal issues related to U.S. import and customs compliance, and staying updated on global trade regulations.

Candidates should have experience advising on U.S. import regulations, HTS classification, and customs compliance, with strong knowledge of country-of-origin rules, tariffs, and trade regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensure to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction are required.

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $1,045,000 to $3,250,000 per year.
