Intellectual Property Counsel for ANS

In this role, the Intellectual Property Counsel will be responsible for managing the ANS division's patent portfolio, including handling invention disclosures, drafting patent applications, and preparing responses to office actions within specific technical subfields. The position involves providing IP counsel, defending IP rights, and participating in regular patent committee meetings with ANS R&D Strategy and IP experts. Additionally, the role includes assessing standard-relevant IP risks, supporting standard-driven innovation, and assisting in defining national and international patent filing strategies.
Candidates should possess a university degree in engineering or natural sciences, such as Physics or Chemistry, with at least a Master's or equivalent qualification. A minimum of five years of experience in intellectual property, preferably within an industrial or corporate setting, is required. Proven experience in telecommunications technologies and participation in standardization activities, including involvement in standard development organizations and familiarity with standard-essential patent processes, is essential. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
