Intellectual Property Counsel (m/f/d)
AUMOVIO, an independent technology and electronics company specializing in mobility solutions, is seeking an Intellectual Property Counsel to join their Architecture & Network Solutions (ANS) team. This role is based in Timisoara, Romania, and focuses on managing and protecting intellectual property within the ANS portfolio.
The primary responsibilities include handling invention disclosures, drafting patent applications, and preparing responses to office actions. The counsel will provide IP guidance within a specific technical subfield, defend IP rights aligned with the patent strategy, and manage the IP portfolio through regular patent committee meetings. Additional duties involve assessing standard-relevant IP risks, supporting R&D/Strategy in standard-driven innovation, and assisting with IP-related litigation.
Candidates should possess a university degree in engineering or natural sciences, with at least a Master's or equivalent qualification. A minimum of five years of experience in intellectual property, preferably in an industrial or corporate setting, is required. Proven experience in telecommunications technologies and participation in standardization activities are essential. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
