Information Security Engineer

NMI is seeking an Information Security Engineer to enhance enterprise-level security initiatives and integrate information security across its operations. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security infrastructures to protect the organization's networks, systems, and data from cyber threats. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person responsibilities at the Bristol, UK office.

Key responsibilities include designing and deploying secure, scalable security tools; monitoring systems for security incidents; analyzing and troubleshooting alerts; and tuning alerting systems. The role also involves responding to security incidents, conducting investigations, coordinating cross-functional responses, and identifying vulnerabilities to improve the organization's security posture.

The ideal candidate should blend technical skills with business awareness, be comfortable working across multiple areas of security, and be eager to learn more. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001 is beneficial. Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders and the ability to promote a proactive security culture organization-wide are essential.

The position offers an annual salary of £50,000 to £60,000, along with an annual bonus scheme dependent on individual and company performance.
