Immigration Attorney - USCIS
The United Firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a premier law firm. As the USCIS Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing strategies and preparing clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony. You will represent both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Managing a caseload, conducting intakes with detained individuals, and preparing diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions, are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will review immigration applications, collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on changes in immigration law, and provide legal analysis to clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law and possess strong interpersonal skills. A team player who is open to collaborating with fellow associates is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is highly desirable. Familiarity with case management software is also preferred.
