Immigration Attorney
The United Firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team in Santa Ana, California. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to advance their career within a premier law firm known for its commitment to protecting clients' rights. As an Immigration Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.
In this position, you will represent both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload, conducting client intakes, preparing diverse immigration applications such as removal defense and family-based petitions, and reviewing immigration applications to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations to address changes in immigration law.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong background in family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, detained cases, citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of managing a caseload effectively are essential. Experience with case management software is also preferred.
The United Firm offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience.
