Immigration Attorney
The United Firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to advance their career within a premier law firm known for its commitment to protecting clients' rights. As an Associate Immigration Attorney, you will collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants, reporting directly to the Managing Immigration Attorney.
In this position, you will be responsible for representing both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Your duties will include managing a caseload, conducting client consultations, preparing diverse immigration applications such as removal defense and family-based petitions, and developing strategies for court and USCIS testimony. Additionally, you will engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations to address changes in immigration law.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in immigration law, demonstrating a strong ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications are essential. Familiarity with case management software is also preferred.
