Immigration Attorney
The United Firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Immigration Attorney to join our San Jose office. As an Associate Attorney, you will report to the Senior Associate Attorney and collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys and legal assistants.
In this position, you will manage a diverse caseload, representing both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing various immigration applications, conducting client intakes, and developing strategic solutions tailored to each client's needs. Additionally, you will engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations to stay informed on changes in immigration law.
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in immigration law, with a proven ability to manage cases effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset are essential. While bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian applications, and other USCIS processes is highly valued. Familiarity with case management software is also advantageous.
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
