Immigration Attorney - EOIR

This role involves managing a caseload, interacting with clients, and collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.
As an Immigration Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include representing both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. You will prepare various immigration applications, such as removal defense and family-based immigration petitions, and review immigration applications to ensure accuracy and completeness. Additionally, you will engage with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations to stay informed about changes in immigration law. Client consultations to develop strategic immigration plans and preparing clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in immigration law, demonstrating a strong ability to manage a caseload effectively. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, detained cases, citizenship applications, and other USCIS processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with case management software is also advantageous.
Compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
