Immigration Attorney - EOIR

The United Firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career within a premier law firm. As an Immigration Attorney, you will report to the Senior Associate Attorney and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

In this position, you will represent both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Your responsibilities will include preparing diverse immigration applications, such as removal defense and family-based immigration petitions, and reviewing immigration applications and packets to ensure accuracy. You will also meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations, develop case strategies, and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong background in Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven ability to manage a caseload, and experience with case management software are also desirable.

The United Firm offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid parking, paid time off, and catered lunches. This hybrid position requires in-person court appearances.
