Immigration Attorney - EOIR
The United Firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney specializing in EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review) proceedings to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in complex immigration cases, contributing to the firm's mission of protecting clients' rights. The position is based in San Jose, CA, and involves both remote work and in-person court appearances in Dallas.
As an Immigration Attorney - EOIR, your primary responsibilities will include representing non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. You will manage a diverse caseload, conduct client intakes, prepare various immigration applications such as removal defense and family-based petitions, and collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law matters. Additionally, you will develop strategies for court and USCIS testimony, provide legal analyses to clients, and prepare legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.
Ideal candidates will have 1-5 years of experience in immigration law, demonstrating a strong ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship applications, and other USCIS processes is essential. Familiarity with case management software is also advantageous.
