Hybrid AV Support & Desktop Engineer
Gilbert + Tobin, a leading law firm with over 500 lawyers, is seeking a Hybrid AV Support & Desktop Engineer to join their Sydney office. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of audio-visual (AV) systems and providing comprehensive desktop support within the firm. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the firm's technological infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include supporting video conference rooms and platforms to ensure optimal functionality, providing technical assistance during hosted events, and acting as the primary contact for Request for Business (RfB) support across all offices. The role also involves liaising with vendors and support partners for AV software and hardware escalations, delivering hardware and software technical support to end users, and executing tasks assigned by Project Managers. Adherence to processes, procedures, and controls associated with privileged user accounts is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of AV systems and desktop hardware/software, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for vendor and partner interactions. Proficiency in managing tasks and projects, a proactive and self-motivated attitude, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are also important.
