The Manager, HR Business Partner – Retail at ALO serves as a strategic partner to retail leadership, supporting store operations and field teams across a geographically dispersed workforce. This role aligns people strategies with retail business objectives, driving performance, engagement, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to leadership, driving strategic people initiatives and organizational design improvements that enhance performance, agility, and employee experience. The role also involves championing organizational change, assessing organizational health, and partnering with leaders to shape team structures, capabilities, and culture. Additionally, the HRBP is responsible for driving talent management initiatives such as succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning, as well as supporting and implementing scalable programs to promote a high-performance, inclusive culture.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, with SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred. Candidates should have 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including retail or field-based support, experience supporting high-volume, hourly workforces, and deep knowledge of multi-state labor laws. The ability to travel regularly to stores and field locations is also required.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
