Help Desk Associate
The Help Desk Associate at ALO provides technical support to both office-based and remote employees, ensuring the reliable and secure operation of corporate workstations, applications, collaboration tools, and cloud services. This role supports both macOS and Windows environments, manages devices through modern management platforms, and delivers high-quality assistance to users with varying technical skill levels.
Key responsibilities include providing hands-on and remote support for macOS and Windows devices, troubleshooting issues related to system performance, OS updates, login problems, software installations, drivers, and connectivity. The associate is also responsible for setting up, configuring, and securing devices for new hires and refresh cycles, managing corporate endpoints using system management tools, and ensuring devices meet security, configuration, and compliance standards. Additionally, the role involves deploying software, patches, profiles, and updates across the environment, assisting with provisioning, MFA setup, password resets, and group permissions, and providing support for Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of IT support or corporate helpdesk experience, strong proficiency with macOS and Windows support, and basic skills in Command Prompt and macOS Terminal commands. A strong understanding of modern collaboration tools and basic networking is essential. Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills are required, along with being highly organized, self-directed, and customer-service focused. The role also requires the ability to lift 20–40 lbs and comfort in supporting both on-site and remote employees, with a willingness to assist during after-hours maintenance windows.
The base pay range for this position is $35 to $40 per hour, representing the current range for the non-exempt position. Actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
