Healthcare Regulatory Counsel (Pharma)
Axiom is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Counsel specializing in the pharmaceutical sector to provide legal and regulatory guidance to life sciences clients. This remote position focuses on patient access and support programs, including copay assistance, HUB services, reimbursement support, and patient services for specialty and biologic therapies. The role emphasizes managing Fraud & Abuse risks within these programs and ensuring compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities include advising pharmaceutical clients on legal and regulatory considerations affecting patient support and access programs, providing guidance on Fraud & Abuse laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act, supporting the development and oversight of copay programs, HUB services, and reimbursement support initiatives, reviewing program structures, vendor arrangements, and patient-facing services to ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborating with Market Access, Compliance, and Patient Services teams on patient access strategies.
Candidates should have experience advising pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies on healthcare regulatory matters, familiarity with patient access programs, reimbursement support, or copay assistance programs, strong knowledge of Fraud & Abuse laws impacting pharmaceutical programs, experience working within pharmaceutical regulatory or compliance environments, and an active license in good standing in a U.S. state.
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $1,045,000 to $3,250,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
