Health Information Specialist II

Datavant is seeking a Health Information Specialist II to join our team dedicated to managing and safeguarding patient health records. As a leader in health data exchange, Datavant provides secure and accessible data solutions to enhance healthcare decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing requests for patient health information in compliance with company and facility policies. Your daily tasks will include managing patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance, preparing new patient charts, creating digital images of documents for electronic medical records, and responding to internal and external requests for patient records.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Basic computer proficiency and professional communication skills in English are essential. Experience in a healthcare environment, previous production-based work, and in-person customer service are advantageous.

Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $16.00 to $20.50 per hour, depending on location, responsibilities, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and paid holidays.
