GTM Strategy and Planning Analyst
Gong is seeking a highly technical GTM Strategy & Planning Analyst to join its Global GTM Strategy & Planning team. Reporting directly to the Director of GTM Strategy & Planning, this role is pivotal in building scalable infrastructure, processes, and automated tools that empower the leadership team to steer the business effectively. The analyst will serve as the technical architect behind Gong's revenue-generating operations, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights to drive growth.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining foundational GTM assets such as executive dashboards, pacing models, and "Source of Truth" reporting. The analyst will develop automated, repeatable tools and workflows to enable the GTM organization to self-manage with precision. Additionally, the role involves conducting proactive performance analyses to identify friction points in the sales funnel, investigating trends in win rates and sales velocity, and assisting in strategic modeling for territory design and quota setting.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, or Analytics roles, preferably within the SaaS industry. Strong proficiency in SQL, visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker capable of balancing high-level strategy with detailed analytics, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex operational concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
