Global Head of Solutions Engineering
Gong is seeking a Global Head of Solutions Engineering to lead and expand its Solutions Engineering team. This role involves overseeing a team of Solutions Engineers and their managers, aligning pre-sales activities with Gong's strategic objectives. The Global Head of Solutions Engineering will be responsible for scaling and managing the Solutions Engineering organization, standardizing global playbooks while accommodating regional differences, and creating processes and reports to enhance team performance. The role includes building organizational structures that balance specialization with revenue coverage, fostering relationships with Product and Engineering leadership, and improving cross-functional processes to expedite deal closures. Additionally, the position involves developing technical thought leadership on architecture, processes, and operationalization.
Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant solutions engineering experience, including at least 5 years in building and managing high-performing teams, and 4 years leading senior-level managers. Experience in leading organizations of 50–100+ headcount through IPO or significant growth phases is essential. The role requires the ability to build trust among team members and cross-functional stakeholders, influence peers without formal authority, and possess a high level of business acumen.

The annual on-target earnings for this position range from $340,000 to $357,000 USD, with compensation based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
