Braze is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join its dynamic finance team. This role is integral to supporting the company's financial planning and analysis functions, contributing to strategic decision-making processes. The Financial Analyst II will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting, aligning with Braze's mission to empower brands through customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. The analyst will support monthly financial reporting processes, including variance analysis and management reporting. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role involves gathering relevant information for financial analysis and conducting cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects or systems. Additionally, the analyst will design reports and communicate analyses effectively to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance is required. Proficiency in Excel, strong analytical thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The candidate should demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and productively.
