Financial Analyst, FP&A

Euna Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is integral to enhancing cost transparency and discipline across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with department leaders to manage operating expense budgets, analyze variances, and provide consolidated cost insights. This position offers an opportunity to apply FP&A fundamentals alongside modern analytics, business intelligence (BI), and emerging AI capabilities within a SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities include partnering with department leaders to develop and manage operating expense budgets and forecasts. The analyst will own monthly and quarterly budget versus actual variance analyses, delivering clear and actionable explanations. Additional duties involve consolidating and analyzing cost variances across departments for leadership reporting, identifying cost trends and efficiency opportunities through data-driven analysis, ensuring consistent cost categorization and reporting standards, supporting accurate expense reporting during month-end close in partnership with Accounting, and continuously improving FP&A processes through automation and AI-enabled analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in FP&A, cost analysis, or corporate finance, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth environment. Strong experience with operating expense budgeting and variance analysis is essential. Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, FP&A tools like Vena, and advanced Excel skills are required. The ability to clearly communicate financial insights to non-finance partners is also crucial. Preferred qualifications include experience building advanced BI dashboards in tools like Domo or Power BI, familiarity with AI or advanced analytics applied to FP&A, experience automating FP&A workflows, and certifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA.

This hybrid position requires three days per week in our Oakville, Ontario office. The compensation range is $70,000 to $85,000 CAD, plus bonus.
