Finance Associate
Join our fast-growing Crypto Finance team as a Finance Associate, supporting the financial operations of IMC's global digital asset business. You will be responsible for managing essential financial processes while collaborating with various departments and regions. This is a hands-on role that requires both meticulous attention to detail and the ability to contribute to broader strategic initiatives.
Your expertise in finance and regulatory environments will be key to driving IMC's growth as we continue to scale our crypto operations globally. You will engage closely with stakeholders across research, procurement, mid-office, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth financial operations across the organization.
Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day accounting tasks for our entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP/IFRS standards. You will oversee and prepare financial and management reports for multiple global entities, support month-end processes such as invoice booking, payroll, payments, reconciliations, cost allocations, and bookkeeping. Additionally, you will assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance through automation.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience at a Big 4 auditing/accounting firm is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software (experience with Workday is a plus) is required. Strong knowledge of financial processes and reporting for multiple entities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, are essential. An interest in digital assets is advantageous but not required.
