As an Enterprise Account Executive specializing in the Financial Services sector, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new clients and fostering strong relationships within the industry. This position is integral to Gong's mission of transforming revenue teams through AI-powered insights and workflows. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to expanding Gong's presence in the financial services market, working collaboratively to drive growth and innovation.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals across various financial services sub-verticals such as Banking, FinTech, Payments, Mortgage & Lending, and Insurance. You will develop tailored account plans that align with Gong's strategic objectives, identify key decision-makers, and uncover new revenue opportunities. Engaging with senior executives, you will effectively communicate Gong's value proposition, positioning the company as a leader in the Revenue Intelligence industry. Collaboration with Sales Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, and other team members will be essential to craft and execute account-based sales strategies that deliver value across all go-to-market teams.

The ideal candidate will have over six years of relevant sales experience, including at least three years of selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise clients within the financial services sector. A strong business acumen is required, with the ability to think strategically and consult on global strategies within client organizations. Experience in engaging with senior leaders such as C-suite executives and Chief Revenue Officers is essential. A hunter mentality with a proven track record of securing new clients, along with proficiency in value-based selling methodologies like MEDDPICC, will be advantageous. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary to simplify complex concepts and present them effectively.
