The Engineering Manager will cultivate a high-performance agile development team, balancing the execution of new features with the maintenance of existing system health. Responsibilities include managing a team of full-stack engineers, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, mentoring team members, and collaborating with contractors. The role also involves working with directors to drive engineering vision and partnering with product teams to develop solutions aligned with business strategies. Continuous improvement of platforms and experimentation with new technologies are key aspects of the position.

Candidates should have experience working in agile teams, writing unit and integration tests, and reviewing code changes. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to drive complex projects. An interest in music and the intricacies of the music business is beneficial. The role requires influencing cross-functional teams, creating consensus between engineering teams, and possessing strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Experience with React or frontend JavaScript is a plus. Applicants should have at least 2 years in an engineering management role and over 5 years of experience building and maintaining complex software products, with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
