Energetics Operator II

The Energetics Operator II role is integral to the Manufacturing and Operations team, based in Penrose and Pueblo, Colorado. This position involves operating complex production lines or machines with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient throughput.

Key responsibilities include independently managing production lines, performing in-process inspections, assisting with setups and changeovers, and mentoring Operator I employees. The role also involves maintaining accurate production records, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Candidates should possess a working knowledge of hazardous material handling and explosive safety principles, the ability to follow complex instructions accurately, and competence in operating mechanical or automated production equipment. A strong focus on detail, safety, and reliability in hazardous environments is essential, along with basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measuring tools. Eligibility to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses is required.
