The Employee Relations Senior Specialist – Works Council at Wellhub serves as the primary liaison between the company and German Works Councils, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This role is integral to Wellhub's People team, reporting directly to the Director of Employee Relations, and plays a crucial part in navigating co-determination laws to support the company's growth while maintaining constructive relationships.

Key responsibilities include managing daily interactions with German Works Councils, drafting and negotiating works agreements in coordination with legal and key stakeholders, and advising HR Business Partners and business leaders on co-determination rights and complex employee relations matters. The specialist will also support critical business projects, such as organizational changes and policy implementations, ensuring that Works Council consultations align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses 5–8 years of experience in labor relations, with a strong focus on German co-determination and employee relations. A thorough understanding of German labor law, particularly the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG), is essential. The role requires excellent negotiation skills, experience in drafting works agreements, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. A degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with native-level fluency in German and advanced proficiency in English; fluency in French is considered a plus.
