Director, Procurement (IT)

The Director of Procurement (IT) at Alo is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across the IT indirect spend category, encompassing software, AI, services, hardware, and marketing technology. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Procurement and plays a crucial role in building a modern procurement function that drives cost efficiency and supports Alo's growth.

Key responsibilities include leading sourcing strategies within the IT indirect spend category, establishing strategic vendor relationships to drive innovation and performance, and implementing vendor scorecards and performance reviews for continuous improvement. The role also involves driving the adoption of best-in-class procurement practices to enhance efficiency and transparency, and serving as a trusted partner to functional leaders across IT and other departments utilizing technology.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT sourcing and procurement, preferably within the retail industry, is required. Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and complex negotiations is essential, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Alo offers a competitive base salary range of $185,000 to $215,000 per year for this exempt position. The total rewards package includes performance bonuses, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive PTO policy. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
