Director of Retail Strategy & Operations
As the Director of Retail Strategy & Operations at Alo Yoga, you will serve as the strategic partner and right hand to the VP of Retail Operations. In this pivotal role, you will transform complex, cross-functional initiatives into clear, actionable strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Your ability to synthesize information and present it compellingly will be crucial in guiding executive leadership and operational teams toward informed decision-making.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing executive presentations for the broader retail organization, encompassing C-suite reviews, founder briefings, and strategic business updates. You will synthesize operational, financial, and cross-functional data into narratives that drive decisions, ensuring that all facets of the business are interconnected and comprehensible. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional program management for Alo's most strategic retail initiatives, such as international expansion, new country enablement, and new category launches. This involves defining scopes, building critical paths, conducting working sessions, and maintaining visibility and accountability to milestones.
To excel in this role, you should possess 8-12 years of experience, with a solid foundation in top-tier management consulting and demonstrated exposure to the retail industry across multiple functions or verticals. Exceptional skills in building executive-level communications and presentations that inform decisions at the C-suite and founder level are essential. A strong financial and business acumen, including comfort with P&L analysis, business case development, and operational modeling, is required. A proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity through execution, coupled with high emotional intelligence and professional maturity, will enable you to build influence across a matrixed organization without direct authority. Thriving in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with significant executive visibility is also crucial.
The base salary range for this position is $185,000 to $210,000 per year, representing the current range for this exempt position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to the base salary, the company's total rewards package for exempt employees may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
